Okay.

Onto recovery

I'm a firm believer that You can only race as well as you recover. I put a lot of miles on my seat and wall stretching works for hips thighs quads back there's only so much you can do for your feet.

The human foot is a strong and complex mechanical structure containing 26 bones, 33 joints (20 of which are actively articulated), and more than a hundred muscles, tendons, and ligaments. That's why I was extremely excited to try OOfos original.

My 1st feeling was that they're a comdy and are just like any other recovery sandal

But what I wound up really enjoying about these sandals is that they kind of hug my foot (if that makes sense) like a blanket would...

my other recovery sandals are hard and I thought at 1st that those were better but they actually caused a rubbing irritation where is the OOfos were pretty forgiving on my feet.

Now between you and I these aren't a gift from the heavens meaning I don't know if I would go buy a replacement pair when these wear through....) but they make an awesome gift for the person that runs or does tough mutters or exercises a whole lot... even the person that's constantly on their feet would enjoy these after a long day of work (meaning Christmas is coming folks, put your Santa hats on)

At the end of the day I'm glad I tried them I will absolutely use them until they fall apart and I won't say no if somebody buys them for me as a gift

Buff original

Executive Summary:

Buy it.

All of them.

My thoughts:

One thing I rarely if ever travel without is my passport. Mainly because Pennsylvania’s driver's license doesn't get me on airplanes.

The other thing I rarely travel without it my Buff Original!

One of the things which I have always loved about buff is the versatility. I usually wear it around my wrist while running.

Most of the time, I use my Buff to act as a towel to remove sweat while running. While wrapped around my wrist I also use it to hold an energy gel or a small water bottle.

But, Buff was invented as a multifunctional headwear product. That being said, it also helps protect against wind and keeps me warm.

The picture below is somewhere in Iceland at about 2 a.m.

Iceland is definitely cold at 0200. I am so thankful that I had my buff!

On the topic of versatility...sun protection is a part of “runner safety” I think a lot of people overlook.

While writing this, I realized that Buff Original is my swiss army knife of running gear!

The other thing which I find interesting and maybe impressive is that the new products are made of recycled plastics!

From the website: repreve®
Sustainably and consciously sourced - 100% Recycled REPREVE® Microfibers are made from two plastic water bottles that have been removed from oceans and landfills.

What I think is impressive is how ultra soft this headwear is. Even the reflective version is soft. It's not scratchy or anything.

I am sold.

I am a night time runner. I don't always have time to duck out of work in the middle of the day when the sun is shining and birds are chirping.

Additionally, there isn't always a side walk or a track or a secluded place for me to run.

I know. ... why didn't I pick a better sport?

I didn't

And if you're reading this--neither did you.

Brilliant Reflective allows me to apply easy to use stips to my favorite running appareland it works.

It holds up through sweat and wash.

It holds up in rain

AND it even hold up to the abuse of a 9 year old's back back!

That should be enough!

Check my YouTube video's for application and some video's of how they work.

These strips are very easy to use and hold up to abuse!
